MABNI Teacher guideMABNI Coding Studio

Use MABNI with a class, without confusion.

This guide explains the teacher flow: create a class, add students, let them join with a class code, track progress, and sync local work when internet is available.

1

Start the classroom

Run START-MABNI on the teacher PC. Connect student devices to the same local network. Internet is not needed.

2

Create class

Open the dashboard, create a class, and keep the 5-digit class code visible for students.

3

Add students

Add student names and their icon/password. Students should not create online accounts.

4

Student joins

Student opens the app, chooses “Join teacher class,” enters the class code, then selects their name and icon.

5

Track progress

Use the dashboard to see active students, completed levels, stars, attempts, and pending work.

6

Keep a backup

Student progress reaches the teacher PC over the local network. Export class rosters and the progress database to a classroom backup drive.

Recommended classroom flow

Open teacher dashboard
Create or select a class
Students join with code
Run lesson and monitor progress

If students cannot reach their class, check that the server is running and all devices use the teacher PC's local network address. Internet access will not fix a disconnected classroom network.

Creative project backups

Scratch and Junior Stories save in each learner’s browser. Download .sb3 and .sjr copies to keep or move their projects; teacher database backups do not include these browser-only creations.
