THE SCHOOL AI GUIDE
From a framework
to a first classroom pilot.
A practical, independent guide to the CRDP framework: what it means, who does what, and how your school can start.
THE DOCUMENT, AT A GLANCE
Three parts. One shared purpose.
School policy
People lead. Data stays protected. Tools serve learning.
Student competencies
Understand → Apply
Teacher competencies
Understand → Cultivate
Both learning paths combine a human-centered mindset, AI ethics, and AI techniques and applications. The local framework uses two levels for each audience; it does not assign fixed grade bands.
Read the original CRDP framework ↗What a good implementation can support
Better judgement
Learners verify claims and explain their own thinking.
More prepared teachers
Teams choose tools for a learning goal and review their limits.
A consistent school approach
Shared expectations for privacy, access, disclosure and assessment.
These are goals to evaluate during your pilot, not guaranteed results.
A MABNI IMPLEMENTATION ROADMAP
Six steps. Start small.
Adapt this suggested sequence and pilot timing to your school. It is a practical translation of the framework, not an official CRDP approval process.
1Start with a learning goal+
School leader + teaching team
Choose one class, subject and learning outcome. Map devices, connectivity, languages, accessibility and teacher confidence.
You should leave with: A one-page readiness map and pilot goal.
2Agree on the rules+
Leadership + safeguarding / data lead
Define allowed uses, disclosure, human assessment, data boundaries, age checks, family communication, alternatives and incident reporting. Review current local requirements before approval.
You should leave with: A school-approved AI use policy and named responsible people.
3Prepare your educators+
Teachers + training lead
Use the educator path: Understand → Cultivate. Practice evaluating tools, verifying outputs and planning an inclusive lesson. Allocate time for peer review and ongoing support.
You should leave with: A reviewed lesson plan, tool review and training record.
4Build student understanding+
Teacher + students
Use the student path: Understand → Apply. Discuss human agency, ethics, data and algorithms. Offer paper activities before optional school-approved digital tools.
You should leave with: A student reflection, verified work and a responsible-use checklist.
5Run one small pilot+
Pilot team + school representative
Try one learning activity for a proposed four-to-six-week window. Keep a non-AI route, review every output and record problems without uploading identifiable student work to AI tools.
You should leave with: A pilot log, feedback and evidence of actual learning.
6Review before you scale+
Leadership + teachers + student voice
Compare learning work against the original goal. Review access, effort, errors and concerns. Choose to improve, stop or expand; refresh the policy and training regularly.
You should leave with: A documented decision and the next review date.

Resources worth keeping.
Primary sources and practical teaching materials. External tools are optional; the school reviews suitability and current terms before use.
Bring your organization into the plan.
After a learning path, propose a pilot to your school or organization. Its authorized representative reviews the proposal and any adoption decision. Mabni can help with training, offline tools and implementation support.
Start a learning path, then sign in to save a proposal for your school. School leaders can explore the guide and contact Mabni directly at any time.
